How It Works

For renters

1. Create an account and complete any verification required for the transaction.
2. Search listings and review the tool description, rental price, service fee, security deposit, late-return rules and pickup area.
3. Request available rental dates.
4. After owner acceptance, complete the required rental payment and security-deposit authorization.
5. Meet the owner for pickup and document the tool's condition and included accessories.
6. Return the tool on time and complete the return handoff.

For owners

1. Create an account, complete required identity and payout verification, and list only tools you are authorized to rent.
2. Keep descriptions, photos, prices, deposits, late-return settings and availability accurate.
3. Accept or decline rental requests.
4. Document pickup condition and included accessories.
5. Confirm return condition and promptly report damage, missing items or other problems through the platform.
6. Eligible owner proceeds are paid according to ToolShare US payout rules and payment-provider requirements.
